What's proposed

The Bureau of Land Management is planning to enhance existing campsites #2 and #14 at the South Yuba Campground. These improvements are intended to increase the functionality and accessibility of the campsites. The work would involve the use of heavy equipment, such as an excavator or trail dozer, along with hand tools and chainsaws. The primary objectives are to change the footprint of both campsites to create more level camping areas, remove vegetation, and provide additional space for campers. Exempt activity as defined in the 2019 State Protocol.
